Producers making TV programmes or films involving overseas nationals later this year should note the new procedures and the fact they may need to apply for a licence to become a sponsor prior to the new scheme's launch in the autumn. Creative Industries Network (CIN) forthcoming events
CIN is a networking organisation which holds regular events, employs a full time network co-ordinator and runs a fully developed information portal and online database of creative members via the CIN website. CIN is now embedded in the creative sector in Derbyshire, with close links to local government and support organisations. The network's philosophy is to encourage growth through collaboration and to provide a forum and collective voice for the industry. A number of events are scheduled for the coming year.
